Doing BBQ is more a fun then a thirst for a good food. In Pakistan people usually like to go outside for BBQ but on occasions its fun to cook at home and believe me its not that difficult as it is considered; Things you will require for BBQ are easily available and  are very simple. You can enjoy doing BBQ with friends/family in your terrace or in your garden. Double your treats with a CD player and have endless fun:)

BOYS give your mum and sisters a break...show them that you too can cook and even better!:p  I am  sharing the ingredients and the recipe.Try and get appreciation.

INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 kg boneless beef/mutton (cut into fine cubical pieces)
  • 4.5 tbsp Red chilli powder (for extra hot spice lovers) 3 tbsp for medium and 2 tbsp for those who love light spices.
  • 1.5 tsp Black pepper powder  
  • 1.5 tsp Garm masla powder
  • 7-10 crushed green chillies
  • 1 bunch of Coriander/ dhania
  • 1 tsp of crushed kabab cheni
  • 1.5 tsp of dhania powder
  • 2 tbsp of ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp of garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp of powdered jayfel and jawetri
  • 1/2 tsp of powdered badian
  • 1 tsp safeed zeera
  • 1tbsp of white vinegar ( i prefer to use fruit vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of Wooster shyer sauce
  • 2.5 tbsp of raw papaya paste/ u may use kachri/ any tenderizing agent 
  • 1 tbsp of oil 
  • 1 tbsp zarda rang (optional)
METHOD:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in beef and let it marinate for almost 1 whole day. Keep the meat in fridge.
  2. Pierce the tikka boti on to the seekh and toast on coal fire ir bbq grill. whatever you have.
  3. Serve tikka boti with traditional poori paratha and hari chatni.
